Madsen Giersing was formed in 1988 to provide a first class, independent consultancy service to the construction industry. We have a team of very experienced and dedicated engineers. The expertise applied by our director and staff is based on a wealth of experience gained as contractors and designers.

Our team have a background in the construction industry, enabling designs to be adapted to suit the constructability aspect without compromising structural integrity and durability. This has meant that since formation, we have been involved in advising on construction methods and design of temporary works.

We pride ourselves on our ability to design permanent and temporary structures that are innovative, practical and economical. Our practical knowledge of construction equipment and construction methods has enabled us to be involved in a number of very large projects in South East Asia and Australia.  Madsen Giersing has been involved in many design and construction projects, particularly in the area of marine structures, where tender designs had to be developed in a very short time frame. We have an excellent track record of developing these designs, which have proven to be very competitive in the international construction market.
