State of the art software

We acknowledge client requirements for the timely execution of the design and for this reason we have invested in state of the art computer software which in Australia is unique to Madsen Giersing. The company has also developed several in-house analysis programs that supplement commercial packages and allow rigorous analysis and design procedures to be adopted.

 

3D computer modelling and finite element analysis

 

As a standard procedure, we undertake a 3D analysis of the structure to be designed. Finite element analysis techniques offer another tool used extensively in the design process. Often elements of the design require specialised and detailed design investigation with regard to local stress concentration.
